About Us

Hello! I'm Jeff Phillips, the owner and head trainer for Lone Wolf K9. With over a decade of experience in multi-purpose canine handling and domestic training, I have dedicated my career to the art and science of dog training. My journey began with a fulfilling 10-year tenure in law enforcement, where I developed a passion for working with K9 units. This experience laid the foundation for my specialized skills in canine training and handling. With over 20 years of experience in domestic training and 10 plus years training, certifying and handling working dogs to include single, dual and multipurpose canines.

After leaving my law enforcement career to further hone my skill set, I embarked on a new chapter, working as a multi-purpose canine trainer for the U.S military, local law enforcement agencies, federal agencies, and international clients. My diverse background has afforded me valuable insights into the varied needs and challenges of canine training across different settings.

In my role at Lone Wolf K9, I have had the privilege of training not only dogs but also their handlers. My expertise spans a wide array of disciplines including decoying, detection, tracking, bite work, and obedience. One of the core tenets I have come to believe through my extensive experience is that no dog is untrainable. Each canine has unique capabilities and potential that can be unlocked with the right training techniques and dedication.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a devoted husband and father of two. My family is my anchor, and I cherish the moments we spend together. In my free time, I pursue carpentry, a craft that provides a satisfying creative outlet. Of course, my love for dogs doesn't end with work; I enjoy spending time training and engaging with them even outside of professional settings. 

I am deeply committed to continuing education and professional development, ensuring that LoneWolf K9 remains at the forefront of canine training methodologies. My mission is to empower handlers and their dogs to achieve excellence through tailored training programs that meet their specific needs.
